Identify the song playing in any audio or video file by URL, like the Shazam app: title, artist, ISRC and more.

QUERY PARAMS

url *

Direct link to an audio or video file (mp3, m4a, aac, ogg, wav, flac, mp4, webm, ...), up to 30 MB.

Example: an Apple Music preview clip

offset_seconds

Where in the file to start listening, in seconds. Omit to let the API try the middle, then the start of the file.

duration_seconds

Seconds of audio to fingerprint.

Default: 12

Allowed values: 3-30

country

2-letter Apple Music storefront the metadata is read from. Shazam keys, ISRCs and Apple ids are the same everywhere.

Default: US

Allowed values: any ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code (US, GB, IN, DE, FR, JP, ...)

language

Language for names, genres and editorial text.

Default: en-US

Allowed values: an ISO 639-1 code (en, es, fr) or a locale tag (en-US, pt-BR, ja-JP)
