"text": "This place is so special. Today's House of Prime Rib cut was the best I've ever had. It melt in your mouth tender. I got a bone! I remembered to ask not to add so much dressing and keep dressing on the side. It was just right. The sourdough bread had steam come out. Perfect sourdough. Pillowy inside. I was starving. We waited in line and hour before opening. We got a same day reservation at 5:30 pm. We missed the 4 pm cutoff. It was still cool to get a seat. We left and came back. On Sundays we scored a parking spot. Service was wonderful especially when they packed our leftovers. We each got a bag to go home. Remember the olden days when they give you a bonus slice when you eat up the whole steak. Now it is only when you finish the King Louie 16 oz. The yorkshire pudding was still the best. Everything was the best. I did ask for cream spinach and corn. They charged extra. It was worth it. The corn was so sweet. Spinach was so creamy. Yes, we are here to celebrate life! There was so many families with kids. Kids who behaved!",

"text": "It is a special place. Met a couple celebrating their anniversary and they were coming from Stockton and stayed for the weekend. How cool. We all come to celebrate. We got the King Louie just because the $5 difference and the need to gnaw at a bone. Thank you Trevor and Mr. Jiang for making our experience special. But you forgot to offer us some things but it was all good. Salad was dripping with salad dressing. One of these days, need to remember dressing on the side. It's like eating drench salad. Everything was perfect. My steak was so tender. Eating mate had lots of veins. The yorkshire pudding was great. This time and for the first time we had corn bread shaped like a long Madeleine. Yum. Sourdough bread was warm and the best. This was the quickest dinner. Parking on Saturday sucks. Franklin st. Had 2 hours from 5 pm to 11 pm. Monday to Friday was up till 11 pm. Just look for the sign. Two Waymo cars stopped in front and total of 8 were delivered in front. Valet parking is $17 so that's the best step.",

"text": "Celebrating a milestone, where do we go? House of Prime Rib. No reservation? No problem. Stand in line at 3 pm on Saturday. Wait and anticipate. They provide free coffee for those in line. How thoughtful. Valets are ready, $17 to Valet your car. 3:30 pm doors open to take your info. Sit at or near the bar. Start your drinks. Wait. I give them kudos for being gracious, friendly, welcoming, and very accepting. Doesn't matter your ethnicity or how you dress, they give you the best service. We got seated near the restroom. It's okay. We still got the best service. We appreciated Matt, our server, and Mr. Lee, who busses the table and boxes our leftovers. Mr. Lee remembers us. He's worked there more than 20 years. He is fast. Sitting next to large tables will always generate a lot of noise. They, too, were here to celebrate, which makes the energy all the more celebratory. We got the regular cut. Note to self, next time, go for the a la carte minus the salad. Salad is a show, but eating less is good. Salad has eggs and pimento. Yummy, but a bit drenched in dressing. Ask them to limit the special salt and dressing. The sourdough is warm and very sourdough. Got to limit eating it, so not too stuff prior to the entree. I can eat the whole mini loaf. The potato was perfect. Like a mash potato. Half a tube of butter, sour cream, and chives. The prime rib melts in my mouth. Yes, marbled. 3 kinds of horseradish. So yummy. The yorkshire pudding was to soak up the juice. Juice was so good. The best juice. We got sorbet to celebrate the milestone as well as a picture that we were here. The number on the picture is used to download and share with friends. Thank you, House of Primb Rib, for giving me a long-lasting memory.",

"text": "Kudos to Shawn, our wonderful, entertaining, upbeat server. Thank you for uncle Lee for great service. One more guy, didn't catch his name, who packed our leftovers. Two male diners came and ate under 30 minutes! They didn't waste any time. No leftovers. Probably had to get home to their wives who have dinner waiting for them. We took 2.5 hours! From sitting to paying.. My favorite is the yorkshire pudding (like a flattened popover made from eggs). Everything served was their signature dishes and make HOPR stand out. It's all added to the dinner and so good. The house cut prime rib was so darn tender. Shawn gave us a tip: mix the different horse radish so the hot becomes not so hot, and it adds texture. Shawn said he sings like an angel in the shower. Thank you, Shawn, the angel! The corn bread in the shape of corn was unique. If i wasn't so stuffed, i would have another one. The sourdough bread was crunchy warm when it arrived at the table. Cream spinach had bacon in it. Next time, ask no salt in salad and save dressing on the side. A tad too much dressing, but it was so good. Salad was delish. Chilled forks. Cream corn was good. We each ordered different sides to try. Extra side cost you $2 more. Kids' dinner was a bargain and it includes ice cream! The table next to us had the most well-behaved kids. 3 adults and 4 kids. No wonder House of Prime Rib got an award for the best hospitality! Mist deserved! A wonderful birthday celebration. Can't ask for any better! I really like the dining room near the restroom. I think it is less noisy compared to the front.",

"text": "We got rrservation at 4 pm. The first seating at one of the corner booths. Squeeze so we can see the going on. The spinning of the salad, the description of what to order, when they bring the plates, what the other table ordered. It's part of the experience to watch the show. Our adjoining table guests came at 5 pm so we had the corner to ourselves. If you are lucky, you get the bone with house cut. My counterpart ate up and was asked if they wanted more? Of course since they've been starving themselves for this meal. Bring it on. Impressive, they start out with bread , crunchy and freshly baked. Sourdough. Knife sticking out. Later i noticed they sliced it for later guests. The condiments of horseradish . The strongest is the best but it also made me gag. But it was s good. The prime rib was excellent. It melt in your mouth delicious. The service was attentive . The birthday celebration a success the Tiramisu topped it. I taste the booze. The waiter sang so it was all in all wonderful.",

"text": "Service was excellent. You get a show at the table with the salad spinning. Those knives are dangerous. I wonder has anyone grabbed and slipped one into their purse? You get a choice of complimentary water, how posh! It seems like everyone was having a birthday! It's just a treat to eat here and you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, like being in a cozy chateau somewhere. I loved the tray of horseradish. Try the hottest; it has a good kick! The tiramisu was excellent, not too sweet. Light enough to compliment the meal. Yes, everybody at our table had a doggy bag! If you don't like bacon, don't order the creamy spinach. Of course, the prime rib was tender, why else would you be here. This is the carnivore's heaven.",

Today I only got a black bottom cupcake. So moist with cream cheese in the middle. Wow, so good. I ate it in no time. All the bran molasses muffin were all gone. The reason for coming is that I ate a slice of derby cake recently. So good. Chocolate and white cake with banana in the filling. So good and fresh.",

"text": "Happy Easter everyone! This morning this bakery was busy. Two registers, but they need more. Reinforcements came when two young people arrived to work. They must employ all the young people in town. They are super nice and sweet (wink wink). People bought boxes of stuff. Cakes! Pies! You got to arrive early since I'm sure they will sell out of their hot cross buns. Last day tomorrow. For some reason, this year, they are super sweet. I saw these cute cupcakes with bunnies on top and i could resist. Bunny year too! Mazzetti's: thank you for making me happy with all your baked goods. "text": "I love this little farmers market. Near behind this church and sheriff station. Parked on the streets since the parking lot seems to be full. Health Clinic in the back. I got to sampling. Got the strawberry and I had to buy it. Got apricots, got to buy some. The prices were reasonable. 3 baskets of strawberries for $15. Apricot $3 lb. $5 for a big bag of small ones. Fresh pastries, was eyeing on the lasagna. Fresh eggs. Flowers were gorgeous. Children creating chalk art and literally flat against concrete. Pupusas. Fresh meat. You get a great selection to get your dinner ingredients. Enjoy some music by this cool dude with his guitar.",

"text": "I had the artichoke pesto pizza. You would think they got the artichoke down the road at the farm. So much topping! It is a bit greasy, but delicious. I got the pesto bread too. My whole car smelled like pesto. I just love this bakery. It is so old style, traditional, no artificial flavoring, natural ingredients. Yes, some of the baked goods seemed a bit fake looking. There is so much variety. The baklava looked good. The prices are so good that I feel like I can splurged and eat for the whole family. I also had the apple strudel and I liked that it wasn't sweet at all.",

"text": "No more distinction of paying cash or get dinged for using credit card. That is great. Got here early before opening, about 25 min early. 6 people ahead of us. Got our seats. We all ordered fish and chips. Well I got fish and coleslaw. They don't say 3 pieces or 4 depending on the side of the fish pieces. The fish was perfectly flaky. Batter is light. They actually changed their oil mid day, closed between 2 to 3 pm to do so. Nice. Coleslaw was the right balance, not soupy or too sweet. The fries were really good. Crispy outside and soft inside. Perfect beautiful day. Traffic was horrible. Bumper to bumper going towards half moon bay.",

"text": "I came for the fish and chips. I have not found any restaurant that is so generous and has perfectly cooked rock fish. Instead of chips, i had coleslaw. My friend went all out. But i did also. We had fried clam strips. Not as chewy as i had down in Pismo Beach. (Tip: the table behind my friend had steamed clams, way bigger clams. ) my clam strips were bitty size. We split the bowl of clam chowder with lots of clams. Enough to serve 4 people. My friend got fried oysters, as entree. Came with rice. The oyster is big, plump and tasted like the ocean. Big yum. She also had petrale sole and her review \"meh\". The service was quick and good. The bill came and we got confused. All the prices were not from the menu or from the board. It was explained. If you use your credit card, the prices were 4% more. Now you get taxed on the higher price. So mathematic wizards out there, please do the math. Not only your entree is higher, you are paying higher taxes and tip charges. You get me? There's something screwy here. To ameliorate this, bring cash lots of cash, but who really carries over $100 cash in this age. So, you got to ask, is it worth it?",

"text": "I had the most pleasant meal on my first visit and I've been chasing it. Never to be found. Maybe it's the timing. Im always coming in the last half an hour of closing of diner. First time, it was only hot dogs left and I mistakenly ordered double hot dogs, 2 of them, which equals to 4 hot dogs and two buns. Then I got mash potato and meatball in kid's meal plate. That was not my best meal. Second time, I got falafel and some kind of hummus mayo and couscous. The couscous was flavorful. Falafel seemed like a vegetarian meatball to me. I added the marinara pasta. Mushy. Added a frozen yogurt cone, more icy than crcone. They mixed fruit was good. Very sweet. My lesson? Skip till I get my ideal meal which would have been salad with salmon. Service was fine. Order at the kiosk. Get a number and watch the monitor fir your number. The restroom code is in your receipt. Many people get to the restroom and get perplexed waiting outside. All meals end at 6 pm. Watch out for \"sold out.\"",

"text": "I finally figured out how to order using their big Ipad. I got two slices of smoked salmon, comes with salad, tiny salad dressing, potato salad. It was delicious. Very lite lunch for $10. Cannot beat it. I got my protein and greens. It was saran wrapped and came from the displayed refrigerator. I got hot tea and used the lemon that came with the entree and made lemon tea. Great lunch. Came at 11:15 am and I was the 2nd diner. I know im not being consistent with the stars. The place was clean. The staff gave me the code to the restroom. Restroom was clean. Salmon was not super salty. I got a free tea for being an Ikea member. I food came out in two minutes.",

"text": "I'm back. Take advantage of riding the new metro to chinatown and the reprieve of no rain. Chinatown needs some love and customers. Had to come back for their famous fried salted wings. Crunchy outside. I counted 11 wings. We added braised pork belly with salted dried cabbage. Good thing there's some bok choy on the bottom. Melts in your mouth pork belly. Had to have rice to absorb the tiny bit of sauce. My belly was happy. Complimentary tea and fortune cookies. Wierdest fortune sayings. It said, \"Go about your business. Don't pick the street flowers. \" WTH! They turn off the \"open\" sign at 7:30 pm because they close at 8 pm. The ladies provided great happy service. More non- Chinese diners go in there and lots of orders to-go fried wings orders. These two guys had steamed fish and that plate was wiped clean and nothing left except the head. $26 a pound and looked 1.5 lb. It looked good. They have fresh fish tanks in their basement. Forget about check- in for free lemonade, no such thing, and they don't make it anymore.",

"text": "I'm a fan of the salt and pepper fried chicken wings. They know their wings. They only give you the wings, minus the drumettes. The skin is crispy and slightly spicy with the fried chili pepper and fried green onions. There's about 15 in each order (yes, I counted the bones afterwards!). When I first got there, I couldn't find the wings under poultry. It was hiding under appetizers! It could be a meal in itself! Lots of happy eating customers in there, especially the kids, boy, they took over the restaurants with their exuberance. There are waittress, no waiters. That's interesting! And they were very nice, no attitudes. On the walls, they've got pictures of themselves with Will Smith. They've got good old fashion Cantonese food.",

"text": "German sausages. Drooling. This is the best place to get German sausages. I have no idea which is the best but it is the one you order! I had the Bockwurst. Came with skinny fries. Added a salad to appease the guilt and balance out the fries. I would like to try the schnitzel one of these days. The place is super reasonable. The place was quiet since there were no actual competitive sports. Giants was losing! May I make a suggestion to the owner, add to the menu, 5 sausages for $35 and add a big plate of fries to be split among 2 to 3 people. This way, we can try all the sausages at once.",

"text": "Draft pick! No not the draft beer. Literally Dolphin picked somebody on their team and the mother went crazy. Indoor eating with two TVs facing us. German sausages are the best. Had the Bockwurst and it was so yummy with some mustard, French fries and sauerkraut. Next time i will try the schnitzel. No idea why but everytime going to German restaurant i have to order Schnitzel. I think i like the sound of it. Beer all around. There was social distancing. No bar fights. Calmness.",

The coconut chicken Portuguese was a let down. Taste was ok. Not salty was the plus. Do over was to order the beef chow fun instead. The salted fish, egg plant claypot was good. The black sesame pudding was delicious. Mango with black rice and coconut milk just ok. Portion size was huge. A bit of a wait for food. Order something fast and then decide later. At least you get something better than nothing.",

"text": "This is only for their tire dept. I want to give them kudos for pumping air into the tires. The guy noticed all the valve stem needs replacing. That may be the cause of tire pressure going down. Went somewhere to replace it. Cost $79 for all 4 tires valve stems. Who knew those get cracked and old. The wait for help at the counter was excruciating slow. One guy for 3 people in line. The lady ahead bought new tires. It seemed to take 30 min. Tire guy looks up if they have tires for her car. Then goes to the floor to find the tires. Schedules her for same day install but not till 3 hours later. Cost over $1000 for 4 tires. Then he explained how costco has free tire rotation, so on and so forth. The first guy wanted to get tires too but he was not coming back that day. He had a toddler with him and i guess weekend is running around with family. Can't be tending to tires.",

"text": "It is probably the biggest Grocery outlet in SF. It's spacious. No need to bump into people. I see tourists and natives. They have the rare deals like mango white chocolate Pepperidge Farm cookies 2 for $.98. What? I got some black beans snacks for .99. They have these Chinese Lays chip with bbq pork flavor for .99 a bag. Interesting stuff. Two homeless guys do like to shop there too before closing. One was offering to buy beer for the other. There is a security person in front. This Grocery outlet has their cutest colorful shopping bags. Those who take bus. #8 stops at the corner of Bay and Powell half a block away and get back towards downtown in front. Parking is validated for one hour.",

A bit disappointed, his mushroom sauce was very salty. He asked for medium rare ribeye but it was medium. Too bad. The noise was down a notch. Football was on the tele at the bar. Don't trust their waiting list on line. I keep checking and it said wait was 0 to 10 min. When I got there the website said 40 to 50 min when I put myself on the waiting list. We experimented, putting name with hostess is the same as putting it online with your phone. It ended up to be 20 min. These young people who work there are really hard working, busing tables and serving. Those buns were flying out of the oven. Cinnamon butter may not be your favorite. Reminder, they up sell you. Want it (baked potato) fully loaded?\" Extra. Want extra mushroom , extra. Want appetizer? Of course extra. We tried the cactus blossom. Fried onions. Eat it while it's hot. Sauce was a tiny spicy. "text": "The decibels in this place is loud. That's the only worst thing about this place. I made a reservation prior to getting in my car, about 25 to 35 min wait. We made it and got seated near the bar in an elevated booth with Sf Giants playing on the tele. The pitcher was good. Reminds me to go to a Giants game. The normal wait was able 10 min and plenty of parking. Bread was given immediately. Honey butter pillowy bread. Yum. Had to restrain myself from inhaling them. A bag of peanuts on the table. I ordered incorrectly and ended up with 12 oz of ribeye instead of prime rib. Good thing my eating mate switched with me. My 2 sides: baked potato loaded which added $1.79 with cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and sour cream. Not very melty. Hugh potato. Steamed veggies of carrots and broccoli, good chew and crunch. Prime rib was excellent, tender, salty on the edges. Dipping sauce. Asked for creamy horseradish. More buns please. Great prime rib. Service from Allan was great. Dizzying affect seeing the servers go in and out of kitchen. They must serve a thousand people per day. Got plenty of leftovers! Ended with midnight snack. I paid at the table with the gadget (no pressure). Plenty people sitting at the bar, especially single ones. They have a deal during week days before $14.99 before 5 pm.",

The 4 lb lobster noodle is hugh for 6 people. They have this soup which you have to order ahead is outstanding for Chinese people only. Because you will see the soup ingredients on a hugh plate that will include chicken feet and fish gels and a whole chicken with won tons. The broth is separately in a different container. Abalone with tender mustard greens. The steak with cucumbers. Steam fish. Baked custard tapioca was specially ordered. Date bread rolls which was interesting. Service was outstanding, changed plates., extra napkins. They will move to serramonte soon.",

"text": "The service was outstanding. They were quick to change plates, to wrap up leftovers, need not ask twice for more water or napkins. Even gave suggestions. Even looked happy working there. They were young like out of high school (not). We picked a few things but i was most impressed with the green vegetable that had a twinge of spicy oil. I love their shrimpy condiment and had to take it home. The duck with buns was ok. Not as crspy skin as i would like. The dry scallopped egg rice came really late, so it was hardly touched. We got the sesame soup at the end which was a tad watery. The roasted potk was great. The shakin beef (not sure what it was callled) but the beef was very tender. You see big families enjoying their meals together. Economy definitely have an effect. There was actual parking at night.",

"text": "Koi is koi. No other place like it. It's for the rich or special occassions when you save up. Due to covid 19, there were plenty of parking and empty seats. Are we close to apocalypse? The place was stuffy, temperature wise. Plenty of purell. Bathroom equipped with soap and paper. Actually it was nice that it was not crowded, no lines, no in your face contact. So we had 5 dishes for a grand total including tips $82 for 2 persons. Hightlight: fried rice $24 with black squid ink and scallops, with egg whites and crispy rice bits. Enjoyed it esthetically and taste wise. The only \"XS\" price was the egg roll. Their prices are by alphabet \"letters\" . I think \"K\" was about $11? We had turtle jello (slight herbal refreshing taste), chicken feet (huge, about 4 total per dish, yummy), and our go to dessert: durian custard puff, not at all empowering smell. So... coming here is a big treat. Tea was $1.50 per person which was not bad since the flavor is wonderful even though we added hot water 4 times. Service: i would say half and half. The empty plates taken away fast. They scoop down fast and disappears. The ladies who bring you food were wonderful. I saw the wait captain signal someone to fill our tea. When we left, a nice gesture, the wait staff gave me an extra bag since my friend took the other bag.",

"text": "What an icon. To survive as a restaurant. Last time i was here in 2010, 16 years later. Arrived for 6:15 pm reservation. Before coming, got an Open Table message asking if I was coming with my party of 3? Confirmed. I wrote and asked if there's room for a walker. Yes but no valet parking. We scored a parking in front with yellow zone only up to 1 pm. SF has so many parking restrictions that this was unbelievable. Who gets to park in front of a restaurant? The hostess was super nice. She said parking was ok and she came out to make sure I park properly. To celebrate my friend's birthday, I made sure birthday was in my comments in the reservation. We were welcomed and my friend was wished happy b day. We studied the menu from their website prior to coming. I had 4 course and the one guest had 3. We had a tiny gazpacho to start our dining journey. Lobster risotto was my 2nd favorite. That green oil was called \"herbal tarragon\" and can I get a bottle to go? (Just thinking in my head). The ahi tuna was way too salty. Presentation is a 10, not worth anything when you ruin it with salt. My next course was brazino fish. I enjoyed all the taste from the rasins to the endive sauce. Crispy skin on fish. The breast of the duck was next. I asked for less salt (a yelper said the dish was too salty). The hash was salty, but intriguing. I tasted duck fat. The lighting in the dining room is on the dark side but you get acclimated. Duck didn't taste like duck. My eating mate had filet of beef. Very tender. The seared scallop looked good. The Finale was my favorite part. The chocolate souffle with vanilla and chocolate sauce poured in front of you. Perfection. That souffle was purely fantastic. So chocolatey, light and airy. I savored it as long as i could. We were served tiny little assortments of miniature desserts. Well, lastly the presentation of a slice of chocolate raspberry mousse cake for the birthday person. That was so tasty. Perfect to end this special occasion. Service was impeccable. Slices of bread served automatically, water topped off. The cheese cart looked amazing. If ever I come back, I want to try the lobster. But im grateful to have come. Dining room was not full at all. Before you leave, each guest presented with a gift. I really like the hostess. She brought the walker back. Another person bid us goodbye.",

"text": "This is a really special intimate place as soon as you step on their red carpet. They just think of everything. The hostess takes your coat, a staff waits near the crowded bar to take your drink order, the makeup mirror inside the \"spa\" restroom, along with the sound of trickling water, bread is put on your plate without you noticing, the \"present\" for the guest when they pay, the little leftover in a nice gift bag, a purse hanger, and the best part for me is the little plate of miniature desserts at the end. I feel like 10 people must have served us in 3 hours of eating. They remembered that this was a birthday celebration. I didn't have to remind or say anything. At the end, a candle on the most delicious passion fruit mousse came out for the honored person. This would be a great place to propose (hint, hint). I saw a lot of couples dining. One couple even had a baby in a stroller. The baby slept through the whole dinner (it must be the dim light). That is another special thing, you can actually hear and talk with no loud noises.\n\nHighlights: I love the scallops and the duck breast, perfectly done. I had the foie gras, but couldn't really enjoy it because of the video in my head. It did melt in my mouth. If you are a cheese lover, when they push the cheese cart to you, you might think you are in heaven. The starter curry soup just wakes up your palate. The choice is yours for the taking: 3 course, 5 course, or special menu. Reminds me of being on a cruise ship when you can pick and choose. My friend had 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. This is such a neat concept to me.\n\nIt's a long meal so bring someone who you would enjoy to visit for 3 hours. Our reservation was for 9:00 p.m. My little friend didn't like the waiter asking if we needed a taxi or valet to get our car. She felt it was snobbish. She didn't feel the waiter was that personable, but I can see he was way too busy serving and tending to his job. If I were him, by 12 midnight, I'm down to my one string of patience.",

It was 7:30 pm. This is such a cool place. Way better than 85 degree or Paris Baguette. This bakery must have at least 50 kinds of stuff to buy. I just was at the tail end. I got the coffee bun ($4.50), with real coffee cream inside. The matcha croissant (7.50) with matcha cream. These are gigantic pastries. The berry and cream (4.50) . I'm not a fan of snow white cream (so white). The walnut bun (7.50) that had a crust that is super crunchy. I got a steal for $12 for all four pastries. There's chairs. Rustic bread. Hugh cakes.",

"text": "If you like sunshine and view of the city towards downtown and San Bruno mountains, this is the place to hike. My friend was a wonderful tour guide. We started at La Grande and Ina court. Had to stop by to the nearest restroom, one handicapped stall. There was a big party at the big playground. Lots of eucalyptus trees. Park and Rec did a lot of cutting down trees. Reservoir was more for dogs to jump in. Dogs look so happy. Lots of different parking spots. Several children's playgrounds. Pickle ball court was very crowded. Mansell road went from 4 lanes to rwo lanes. They left one side for people to walk.",
