      "text": "This is the first time I've ever had to leave a negative review for a restaurant.\n\nLast year, I made a reservation for my wedding anniversary at your restaurant, anticipating a special evening. Unfortunately, the experience was very unpleasant.\n\nWhen we arrived, our reserved table was not ready. There was no waiting area available, and we were offered to \"squeeze in\" at the bar between some other patrons. This was uncomfortable and unexpected for an upscale restaurant. Despite agreeing to wait, we ended up standing for over half an hour, which was particularly difficult for my wife who was in high heels.\n\nWhen I inquired about the wait time, the staff merely mentioned that the restaurant was busy. There was no apology or offer of a complimentary drink to make the wait more bearable. With no designated waiting area, we were left standing in the entrance, constantly having to move aside as people entered and exited the restaurant. Even casual dining places like Applebee's have a designated seating area for waiting guests and do not make them wait this long.\n\nBy the time we were finally seated, we were so stressed that we couldn't fully enjoy our meal. The overall experience fell short of the upscale service and ambiance we had anticipated. Given the price point, the service we received was disappointing and did not align with the reputation of your restaurant.\n\nI regret to say that this experience has deterred us from considering your establishment for future anniversaries or dates. I would not recommend anyone come here for anniversaries or special occasions.",

      "text": "What a bunch of pretentious boors! Remember L.A. Story, where Patrick Stewart is the Maitre d' at a restaurant and tells people what they will be allowed to order?\n\nWe had function here in the private dining room. At over two-hundred dollars a plate, you'd think we could at least order off the menu. Nope! We had to order off a special, limited menu so as to not inconvenience the kitchen staff.\n\nMy wife is a vegetarian, and was informed, no, they would not cook a vegetarian meal for her, she would have to order a second appetizer. What would they have done if none of the appetizers were vegetarian? $200 a plate for the privilege of eating two appetizers.\n\nMy brother is lactose intolerant, and got the same treatment. No actual meal, just a suggestion to order a second appetizer.\n\nThen the maitre'd or manager or something like that comes in and fawns over the guest of hoor in the most insincere, sarcastic, and insulting display of false affection I have ever seen. Thank you Monsieur Thénardier.\n\nThe whole thing makes you feel even worse when you walk out into San Francisco and see all the homeless people you could have helped with the two hundred dollars you just wasted.",

      "text": "I actually want to make this place work.  I think the wine choices are pretty good as are the snacks.  However, I had a recently unpleasant experience: they were changing out the wine by the glass menu and offered a new glass not on the menu without any indication of cost, and then had issues with the 2nd glass I ordered (as to it's freshness) and then when I closed out, they gave me a bill which I promptly gave them a card for when they showed me the final tab.  However, while I was about to sign after they had rung it up,  I mentioned  that I liked the second glass better,  they said to themselves \"oh, made a mistake\", voided the charge they had just ran through and handed me a 2nd higher bill without an apology or any acknowledgement for the error, just here you go.  Then got upset when I tipped low.   I was an afterthought for their error.  I showed them the two charges which came up on an app I have, they have assured me the first charge was cancelled, hopefully they are correct. But it still does not make up for the lack of communication with the customer, only that they cared about the bill. Makes me sad... for them....",

      "text": "Racist, Fake , Scum\nThe quality of the server Tommy at the bar was atrocious, I mean i have had better service eating at white castle in the Bronx. I dont oftenly go to san fran but when i do i like to splurge. This place was a rip off tried to charge me extra for a 2 dollar cake that tasted like offal. I also got to have the great experience of the bar tender (tommy) Lie about being threatened then get his manager who looked like a high school drop out to come over. Instead of being an actual boss and mentor he just jumped on the bandwagon of racism. Aside from the price the quality of service and the lousy management is place is crap stay away......",
